We Are Here To Shelter, Support & Empower
Transitional Support
Shelter is just the first step in a long journey. While at shelter, survivors are able to meet with advocates to plan the next step, and School of Women, Inc. offers programs designed to make that next step possible, positive, and permanent. Transitional support includes referrals to agencies that can help with employment, transportation, and utilities, to short-term and medium-term housing with dedicated case management.
Shelter & Advocacy
Our shelter home offers residents a secure place to rest and relax as well as providing comprehensive wrap-around services to promote self-sufficiency and goal setting for each individual staying at the shelter home every hour of the day.
Made up of several dedicated individuals who will be there for you whenever you are in need, School of Women, Inc. exists to help. Our team includes social workers, advocates, case managers and counselors who provide assessment, advocacy, crisis intervention, and supportive services for all women and children in crisis.
Education &Â Prevention
This specialized service is maintained by a team of supportive and well-trained staff who are ready to help you with anything you need. This is often utilized by people in danger or when there is a threat of danger. This service is open to community members of any age and gender around the clock.
